HSA at Makaha

Well yesterday was the contest!! I had so much fun!! The waves were good!! X) It had good conditions and perfect size!! All the guys were ripping out at Makaha!! Well I made it to final and got 1st !!! I am so happy :P!!!! But I only caught 2 waves in the final !! I need to say this again “Catch more waves”!!!!! Even my short board  final in the Rell Sunn i only caught 1 wave :(!!!! In the Rell Sunn i got both 4th place in both divisions (long board and short board). I need to be more aggressive!!! I’m excited for tomorrow because we are having the Haleiwa International Open (HIO) director of the contest is Jason Shibata also co-owner of Ronin.

I’m starting on my page!!!!!!

Well we had a contest call the NSSA and it was at Turtle Bay during the contest we had a meeting with the Hawaii team. I did really bad in the contest I wish i could have done better……… Now I’m practicing on having my 1st turn quick!!!! And I’m also doing things like making my legs stronger like Alessa Quizon!!!! 1 more thing that I have to catch more waves!!!! Before the contest I was sick!!! I think it was the side affect of the flu shot!!?? Well I’m okay now!!

Today was a tough day!! I surf and train at Pupukea and Ehukai!!!! It was hard to catch waves!!! :(   I wish i caught more waves!! Not many people were here at training because all of the people had school or go back to their island!! The waves were fun size and I saw Rockys this morning it was firing I wish we had training their!! I barley caught any waves at Pupukea that’s what I need to work on!! Well I also need to work on my 1st 2 waves that has 3 manuevars that are complete!!! Well I talk to my coach Rainos Hayes and what I need to do….. The thing I need to do was to catch waves and and try fit in 3 manuevars. I didnt do that so I have to run to the tower twice. My 2nd session was great!! I had a blast surfing at Ehukai with the team I almost got caught by my friends from school because that time I didn’t go to school.When I was surfing at Gums I didn’t really catch any waves because I was sitting on the shoulder, so I also need to work on sitting on the peak and catch the waves not from the shoulder. Before the session Rainos told me to bend my knees and use like it a spring.Well thats my crazy day!!!!
